The Decision to Believe and Begin
To begin our look at the Church of God, what it is and what it teaches, it is appropriate to ask you to meet us at the Cross, for we believe the Cross is the starting point for all Christians.
It is there that we come face-to-face with the overwhelming Love of God that prompted the sacrifice of Jesus Christ. As Paul put it, "But God demonstrates his own Love for us in this; While we were still sinners, Christ died for us" [Romans 5:8 NIV]
